Welcome to Mona's House!  Our mission is to help homeless pets.  We rescue, foster, rehabilitate and help them find forever homes!

We have rescued, rehabilitated and found homes for over 145 puppies and kittens since May, 2013!!!

Looking for Forever Homes...

Teddy - 12 year old Pekingnese/Pomeranian mix, friendly, sweet lapdog that gets along with other dogs and cats, is crate trained and just wants to be with you, up to date on vaccines, neutered, heartworm negative, Had senior bloodwork in November, 2017 and is in great health!

Antler (Annie) - 11 week old mixed breed puppy, probably has some hound in her, will grow to be around 35 pounds, gets along with other dogs, cats, kids, working on crate training and house breaking, up to date on vaccines. Not yet spayed as she is too young (spaying is a condition of adoption).

We also recommend the following rescues....

Please check out Bandit's Place Rescue.  They are a Connecticut based rescue and we foster some of their dogs right here.  Their founder, Liz Bennett, is featured on the "Lost and Pound" segment on WFSB Channel 3 News.

Please check out Wings of Freedom Animal Rescue.  They are a Connecticut based rescue made up entirely of volunteers and all the dogs are in foster homes to ease their transitions to their FURever home.

Also check out Friday's Rescue Foundation in Groton, CT.  They have over 60 dogs and cats that are looking for forever homes!
